Dental implantology is a dental discipline that deals with the placement of implants in the edentulous bone of the upper and lower jaw to replace the root of a lost tooth. Implants address the lack of one or more teeth, with the implant serving as a carrier for prosthetic replacements.

Endodontics is a branch of dental medicine that deals with the treatment of the dental nerve (pulp). It includes cleaning, dilating and filling the root canals. In our office, we use machine processing of the canal, which enables precise, fast and painless therapy.

Cosmetic dentistry is a branch of dental medicine that deals with the cosmetics of the oral cavity. Procedures that can improve the cosmetics of teeth are whitening, ceramic veneers, metal-free ceramic crowns (EMAX), cosmetic composite fillings, sandblasting and ultrasonic cleaning of tartar and deposits caused by the consumption of tea, coffee, nicotine, etc.

We distinguish between fixed and mobile prosthetics. Fixed prosthetics involves crowns and bridges that are cemented and not removed by the patient. Mobile prosthetics means prostheses that the patient puts on and takes off, and can be total (whole jaw) or partial (part of the jaw).

Oral surgery involves various surgical procedures in the oral cavity. The most common procedures are implant placement, augmentation (artificial bone addition), tooth extraction, complicated extraction of impacted teeth, apicotomy (cutting the tip of the root of the diseased tooth), frenulectomy (laser cutting of the joint between the front teeth of the upper or lower lip) and gingivoplasty.

An orthopantomogram or orthopan is a diagnostically basic and most important image in dentistry, which is most often made as an orientation image at the first examination. The image provides an overview of a large anatomical region, and is excellent for making a correct diagnosis, planning therapeutic dental procedures and monitoring the development of the disease and the results of dental treatment.
